: Hi Grim,
: 1st thanks that you share this design with us. But I have to say, if I would be able to build something that is TOO powerfull ... dang .. I wouldn't throw it away ( sell the idea to toy companies ;) a toy that guaranties follow up sales *laugh* they gonna love that .. they can start tournaments . MY ONE SURVIVED 7 ROTATIONS >>THE CHAMP<<

: Had a look at your drawing, tell me when I got it wrong. The big lead weight, the arm, and the 6 ounce weight build sort of a 90degree angled lever construction. Pivoted around that little dot marked on the big one??? Hmmmmmm .. how did you get it to 'swing' over at 1 o'clock? As I see it I would expect it somewhere around 3 o'clock... maybe I just get it wrong, please enlighten me with your destructive insight :) .. May the force be with you.

Hi Ranier

You are correct about the 3 o'clock position on initial release (original drawing). That's also why the number 1 (one) in red. Changed the inner stop position more towards the pivot point to alter the top timing to 1230-100. By changing the position
the timing can be changed. On the bottom the weight doesn't care as long as it hits a stop.
As stated, the lever angles, stop positions and timing are a bear, but with sufficient patience it can be set up to run.

Shelved it because it's not a smooth runner, a la "eyewitness accounts", plus got tired of putting it back together after its repetitious suicides.
